Classes

Below you will find a description of the classes I teach.

To get the most out of your Pilates class select the appropriate level for you and your ability.

 

Choose the beginners level if this is your first Pilates class, regardless of fitness. This is so you can learn the fundamentals of Pilates safely before you move to the more challenging classes. If you are working through an injury or are unsure of which level to choose just get in touch.

Pilates

Level: Beginners

This class is ideal for those new to Pilates and also for those working through an injury. It will be a slower paced class with a strong emphasis on understanding the fundamentals of Pilates and building up to more challenging exercises safely.

Pilates

Level: Mixed-ability plus

Within this class we will begin to gently explore exercises from the intermediate repertoire. There will be options to suit everyone's level so this class is open to all. This class is great for those wanting to increase their challenge, but at their own pace.

Level: Mixed-ability Pilates with a band

In this class we will be using a low resistance TheraBand to explore new exercises as well as adding new challenges to exercises we already know.

Level: Beginners plus

This class is ideal for those new to Pilates and also for those who have done a few classes before. We will focus on flowing movement with support from the breath. There will be a strong emphasis on understanding the fundamentals of Pilates and building up to the more challenging exercises safely.

Level: Intermediate 

This class is great for those who want to explore the more challenging Pilates exercises in the intermediate repertoire. It is a step up from the mixed ability plus class , and only for those who have been doing Pilates for some time and are looking for a more challenging workout.

Corporate classes

Corporate Pilates is an ideal addition to your employees day. Promoting health and well being for your staff. Less sick days and happy employees. Classes can be taught in your business or virtually via zoom. A lunchtime class is an ideal break to recharge for the afternoon or a post work class to unwind from a busy day.

This class is an ideal class for those who have been doing Pilates for a while and feel confident to learn new exercises as well as combining the ones they know already. Different level options for exercises will be given so you will be able to explore more challenging movement at your own pace.

Level: Beginners ballet

Beginners ballet in your own home. A wonderful opportunity to explore the foundations of classical ballet in a fun and accessible way.
